PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF ROOT EXTRACT OF WITHANIA SOMNIFERA ON 1,4-DIOXANE AND TRICHLOROETHYLENE-INDUCED CHANGES ON IN-VITRO GOAT HAEMIC SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
The environment is being contaminated/polluted daily with various chemicals from several industries during their manufacture, distribution, use and disposal. Thus chronic exposure of animals and humans to toxic environmental pollutants is a global health concern. Upon exposure to these chemicals like 1,4-Dioxane and Trichloroethylene, the vital organs and functions of the body are being affected.
